Lily Wang is the co-founder & CEO of Demi, a startup in Chicago, Illinois, that is reimagining composting in cities with the first and only IOT organics collection system that was specifically designed for buildings. Lily’s early interest in the intersection of climate and society led her to pursue a BSFS in Environmental Sciences, Technology & International Affairs at Georgetown. She began her career as a strategy consultant where she worked with multifamily clients including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, before pivoting into early-stage climate investing. She received her MBA from the University of Chicago, where she was an Obama Scholar, Social Impact Leader, C200 Scholar and Herman Fellow. Lily has lived in over fifteen apartments across nine cities and has composted (or at least, tried) in every single one.Demi
