Woollets, LLC is small business located just outside Argyle, Wisconsin, founded, owned, and operated by Elaine Becker and Karen Mayhew. Their mission is to revive the Midwestern wool market, fostering regenerative practices by repurposing a waste product (wool) and scaling a sustainable alternative fertilizer to combat extreme weather challenges. Woollets pays Wisconsin shepherds a fair price for raw waste wool and then heat pelletizes it to create “Woollets” wool pellets for soil amendment in the home, garden and farm. Woollets uses sustainable and recycled materials in their packaging and production practices.
